The boutique’s name, “Evolve” came to be through two concepts: The first concept being the greatest expression of all things: LOVE. The word “love” is spelled backwards in the first four letters of “evolve” and for the owner it symbolizes the only way to live life: Love God and Love People. The second concept is through the actual word itself, “evolve”. We aspire that through shopping at the boutique that you, our customer, will have a unique experience in which you will feel valued, treasured and loved by our staff…all while gaining knowledge on new products and fashions enabling you to “evolve the way you shop!” What’s in a dragonfly? Our dragonfly is symbolic because it can see in all 360 degrees. It symbolizes the uninhibited vision of the mind and the ability to see beyond the limitations of the human self. It stands for change and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life. We hope that through the boutique we will be able to empower women; allowing them to see beyond their own limitations and clothing them in not only fashionable attire, but in strength and dignity. Why Purple? Our logo, dressing rooms, tissue paper and many other items are purple for a reason! It represents the Proverbs 31 woman. We long to increase the knowledge of fair-trade and locally made products through our store and the Proverbs 31 woman was our inspiration. She is clothed in strength and dignity and the scripture reminds us to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” Come in and learn about our fair-trade goods and hear the stories behind the people who are making your products.
